I won $500 on a scratch off lottery ticket. How should I spend it?

For Christmas, my manager gave me a $2.00 Scratch off and a bag of candy. I put the scratch off in my desk and forgot about it until yesterday when I scratched it off and won $500. I want to do something kind of frivolous with it, but totally fun. I have a vacation scheduled for March and I'm thinking a 2 day trip to Nashville would be fun. I'd love to see the Grand Ole Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. But I don't know if with gas, food, lodging and tickets $500 would cover it.

I live just outside Nashville.. Don't get a hotel down town, they are $300 - 500.00 per night.. It's a great city & so much to do!

If you need to ask total strangers what to do with the money, then you probably don't want / need anything at present, so why spend it for the sake of it. Why not save it til you do actually want something. Another alternative is to spend say 50% of it, and then save the rest

u never wrote how far from nashville u live. also what kind of hotels u re used to. also where u re going to eat. if nashville is close to where u live and u re going to stay in a cheap motel 50 bucks a night and eat at mcdonalds 500 might be enough. if u need to drive thousands of kilometres and there re no cheap motels 500 will not be enough to cover everything
