How do I move out of state without a job?

I have 9000 dollars saved and I am planning on moving to Washington, would they allow me to rent an apartment without a job? my plan was to move there, rent an apartment and find a job. Would that be possible?

Most places require proof of income before they will rent to someone.

Washington is a big place. $9000 will last you about 14 minutes in Seattle. It's not enough to rent an apartment and probably not even enough to get a roommate situation if you don't have a secured job. On the flip side, $9000 would be a gold mine in Connell.

You cannot rent an apartment without a job. Only possible way is to put up a year's rent up front and even that is iffy.

maybe

You use the Internet and you are not able to look after a job in Washington? Than stay where you are.

Would that be possible? Yes, my brother moved to my city a year or so back. He had no job to go to, but he did have money in the bank. The letting agents said that would not be an issue with landlords provided he agreed to pay 12 months rent up front. This is what he did. So providing that 9k will cover a year's rent and other expenses you should be fine

If you can find an apartment where the $9000 will allow you to pay the FULL rent for the ENTIRE lease up front, they may accept that without current employment, but they don't have to do so.

Washington State or city of Washington??

I've moved all over the west with quite a bit less than 9K...BUT, that was a long time ago & I did at least have very good job prospect.. I'm quite familiar w/ the state of Washington (most all of it) Right now vacancy rates in the Sea-Tac are up, so getting an apt. might be easier than some are suggesting.. But your 9K isn't going to last long without a job..Jobs that don't pay enough to live on are plentiful in the Seattle area..Your 9K might actually work well for you if you get off the I-5 corridor..

i don't think u would like sort of apartments u can get without a job. u may try airbnb - it is a sight where u rent vacation premises. sometimes with the owner on site. i suppose u could get more luck with those. also having no long term lease agreement would be better for your situation - if u do not find a job u just leave.

Can't. And if you had a lick of sense you would know better.
