How do I find the value of a stock certificate from 1952 when I know the corporation still exists?
It's a small town co-operative and my long deceased uncle bought stock in it in 1952. I have the certificate.

You could call them up and ask them. You could also open an investment account and put the shares in there and they'll figure out how much they are worth - in number of shares and at what price.

Go to the corporation web page and find the stockholder page. There should be a phone number that you can call. If the stock has split at any time, you may have more shares than you think. They should have a record of the stock certificate either by the shareholder name or by the number on the certificate.
