How can I get health insurance?
Okay. My husband works and has insurance through the workplace. His boss help compensate some of the costs. However, he cannot add me to his policy. It's just for employees. I'm a homemaker and don't work. No income. How can I get insurance separately?

Your options are: 1) Wait until the next open enrollment period and purchase an individual plan; 2) Get a job which offers you insurance; 3) Your husband finds a job which allows spouses/dependents to enroll.

Call an insurance company. Tell them you want an individual plan.

Through your state's marketplace, or the federal marketplace if your state doesn't have one. You'd better hurry up. Open enrollment ends Jan. 31.

Buy it through the ACA marketplace. Call an agent & give your husband the bill to pay. This is what he should be doing if he doesn't have job that includes you.
