Time for medical center to begin collection agency?

What do you mean no one called a creditor? Happens everyday. When I briefly worked in 3rd party collections, we did a local hospital collections. The accounts came to us after 90 days without a payment regardless. We got 30% of the cut regardless of how people paid. Us or the hospital directly. If you mailed a payment 5 months ago, what are you expecting? A cookie? A statement? Collection agencies don't do either. When I worked collections, the hospital nor us reported the customer was in collections to the credit agencies. However, if we could not contact them, we would run their credit to try and get contact info. That was 33 years ago. Fun for a month. Ok after 2. Got really tired of it after 3 months.

If they want to be paid they will contact us or file suit. We are waiting.
