Why hasn't a coffee shop hired me?

They get a lot of applicants for each job they have open, so you have to be lucky and apply at just the right time. You're right that all your jobs, and going to school, are so short term is probably not helping

Yes, your resume has unrelated work experience and all of very short duration. Even your college experience is very short, and all of that together makes you look like someone who can't stick with anything. While I'm sure you have good reasons for leaving each thing, but the fact of the matter is that you aren't getting the opportunity to explain because people aren't contacting you for interviews. That said, coffee shops aren't exactly expected to be the types of jobs that would expect highly qualified people to apply, so it is more likely the fact that they get a lot of applications for open positions and not much sets you apart. When you apply for a position, are you then following up on your application, or are you just sitting back waiting for them to call you? You should be contacting them about a week after you submit your application to follow up. Make sure you do this and an off peak time so you aren't interrupting during a rush time.

I don’t know exactly why you haven’t been hired. Your lack of relevant experience and the frequent job hopping probably aren’t working in your favor though.

Realistically you have 6 months of somewhat relating experience as a Hostess at Applebees. I work in HR. What I see by looking at your resume is that you are unable to commit to anything. You started college, didn't finish. In the past 18 months, you've held 3 different jobs and now you're looking for another new job again. You are a flight risk.

the answer is youre too qualified for the job.If youre applying for a starbucks job, never put on your resume that youve been to post secondary college or university.Sure youre supposed to be "honest" but by leaving out your post secondary education and instead putting in your high school education, its not a lie but simply not giving additional information, plus starbucks may say they offer free college, but they dont expect to pay for college for every employee they hire, they expect people who will stay at starbucks for the long term which is unlikely for a college graduate, plus all your job experiences are different from what they do at starbucks.
