Why can’t I find a job?? Help?
I’m 18 years old. Back in 2017, I worked as a cashier in a fast food place for about three months. I quit because at the moment I was too stressed and needed to focus on school. Now, I need to start working again. I’ve applied to Target, Applebee’s, Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, and other places & restaurants as a busser, hostess, or even just cashier, etc.
But I always keep getting rejected & I don’t know why. I have 3 months of cashier experience so I don’t understand why I keep getting rejected to work in those places. I don’t want to have to work at fast food again, I hated it, it made me miserable back then when I was 16. But no other place wants to hire me. I got a job offer at Chipotle but I just KNOW I will hate it Bc it’s fast food. But I really need a job. So therefore I don’t know if I should take it for a while until something better comes along or should I just wait and keep applying to other places. Please help. Thanks.

You didn't last long. Why should they risk training you only to find that you quit after 3 months, when that would appear to be your habit? You screwed over one employer. Nobody wants to be your next victim. They will hire someone who "wants" the job, not a flaky person who only thought she did.

Keep on applying is my advice to you. I wish you the best.

3 months experience counts for nothing. 3 years yes, 3 months no. If you are offered a job take it as a stop gap and continue to look for something better while you are working. It's all money, fills a space on your CV/resume and if you are lucky a reference from the boss.
