What would you do if you went to a restaurant and the waitress or waiter have a nasty attitude?

I went to a restaurant and this lady had a nasty attitude and I was about to cuss her out. I feel like if someone don't want to be at work or mad about something else then they shouldn't go to work. They shouldn't bring their angry on other people who don't know them.

It would depend on what was said or how sour he or she was. I'd consider not leaving a tip if the person was very sour toward me, for no reason.

tip about 5% or a dollar. And if the manager comes by and asks how everything is tonight, tell him or her

If I am in a decent mood I will leave them a two cent tip. That is a clear sign that you believe in tipping but you think they did a really bad job so you giving them a tip equal to the quality of their work. If I am in a bad mood I will ask to speak to the manager and complain to them about the quality of the service. The second is risky because it can result in a person getting fired and does not give them the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.
