Is it embarrassing to apply for a job you quit years ago?
In high school I worked as a dietary aide in a hospital; I loved the job and I miss it. I was great at it and I always worked extra shifts for them. I quit to get more retail experience, and left on good terms. They seemed to like me, even to this day. They’re currently hiring ft and pt and I’m off a semester at school, in college. I’m worried I’ll be embarrassed if I reapply! Does anyone have any experience or advice???

Go for it. The worst thing they can say is no.

Why would you be embarrassed? Good lord, just get on with your life, good grief.

Feeling embarrassed is a voluntary condition, so whether or not it would be embarrassing is entirely up to you.

You shouldn't be if you liked the job and left on good terms. It's up to them to decide to hire you.

Another snowflake. Just apply for it.

We had people reapply working at the theaters before. Some of them were rehired cause they were outstanding workers.
