Can I start a hedge fund with a business degree from a historically black college?
I know all of the top Wall Street firms recruit from the Ivy League. Do I need to go there?

If you are looking to start a hedge fund from scratch, there is no requirement to have a degree from an Ivy League or any other college - so a historically black college degree is fine. The big problem is what requirements your state requires - you may need a series 7 or series 65 license from FINRA and in order to get investors, you may need some minimum amount of funding (usually in the $5 million plus range).
