You feel nihilistic because BECAUSE of the way you think

Absolutely there is. Things like thirst for knowledge which is partly fuelled by an innate curiosity Drive, love( to an extent) and romantic feelings, racist pride( negative but non hedonic) etc are examples.

I guess you don't know how fleeting pleasure can be, just like everything else that is fleshly and earthly. There is hardly any violation of God’s law that does not result in some physical or emotional harm to the transgressor. It is as the apostle Paul reminded Christians: “Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap; because he who is sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but he who is sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit.”—Galatians 6:7, 8.

It's a shame that you feel that way. Enjoy the empty life to which you've condemned yourself.

God never bothers who believes in Him. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. Spirits are separate elements. A human being is not a single spirit. A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, intelligence, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

Of course there's more to life than human pleasure; that there are heavenly pleasures is undeniable (for the believing/knowing). Therefore, expand your awareness of what is "life;" properly understood, Life is of God, and such is acquired, typically step by step, as one becomes more attuned to the Light of the Living Word, which, when "kept" (applied, lived, demonstrated), is the Truth of the One God that sets the human captive free from density and leads to life in the Light, which is God. The tradition(s) one loves is usually the best way to "pattern the Divine;" some general resources: The Great Divorce; Mere Christianity; Purity of Heart Is to Will One Thing; The Star of Redemption; Beams from Meher Baba; Autobiography of a Yogi; The Path of the Higher Self; Light Is a Living Spirit.

So you are pursuing happiness? I hope that before you shuffle off this mortal coil you come to your senses. Seeking pleaseure only brings short lived gratification , nothing more. Wise people never chase happiness because it does not exist apart from their being. Besides , happiness comes from what “happens”

In the introducing part of Plato's dialogue Phaedo is depicted how Socrates feels after removing chains. This proves that pleasure is impossible without preceeding suffering.

Have you ever tried looking up Efilism? It’s a genius philosophy. It really does explain the world and the reality we live in. It’s not nihilistic. More like Negative Utilitarian (harm reduction) in nature. We admit that life sucks and suffering is horrible. It matters to reduce all suffering even if it means peacefully eradicating all sentience. There is a lot of videos about it because there is a lot too it. This video should help. https://youtu.be/4rFwzfAlAFQ
