Do people wrap their heads around concepts in life to prove thought anymore?

People aren't animals but humans, so of course we question our lives, which doesn't need proof that we still think. We may be heavily conditioned by society, but consciousness still comes from our soul and nowhere else, and trumps society and all of creation.
