Can anyone please help me understand the concept of "pataphysics"?

What exactly makes it distinct from metaphysics, fantasy, or nonsense?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%27Pataphysics 'Pataphysics or pataphysics (French: pataphysique) is a difficult to define literary trope invented by French writer Alfred Jarry (1873–1907). One attempt at a definition might be to say that 'pataphysics is a branch of philosophy or science that examines imaginary phenomena that exist in a world beyond metaphysics; it is the science of imaginary solutions. So the theory of quantum physics that presents itself as random relativity, supposedly following Einstein, is an example of pataphysics. This is being pushed forward beyond its mere speculation, by the Jews, such as Einstein with his theory of relativity. It's obviously meant to invalidate the theory of God and religions who believe in God, notably Christianity, in order to debase and confuse a culture so the Jewish controllers can eliminate nation states for the controller's New World Order.

Borrowed from French pataphysique, where it was coined by author Alfred Jarry from a pun deriving from the Ancient Greek title of a work by Aristotle; see pataphysique for more. An absurdist philosophy or pseudoscience studying things "beyond" metaphysics. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/pataphysics intricate and whimsical nonsense intended as a parody of science https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pataphysics

The branch of philosophy that deals with an imaginary realm additional to metaphysics. Origin 1940s: from Greek ta epi ta metaphusika, literally ‘the (works) imposed on the Metaphysics’. The concept was introduced by Alfred Jarry (1873–1907), French writer of the Absurd. https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/us/pataphysics the study of what lies beyond metaphysics; the philosophy of the absurd; the study of a realm beyond that of metaphysics: a notion devised by French absurdist writers as a parody of modern science https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/pataphysics

Perhaps we should be explaining the concept of RESEARCH. Do your own work.

My understanding is that pataphysics extends metaphysics into the realm of the improbable, or absurd.

Would you buy a lobster from this man: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Jarry French "British eccentricity" is well-known; a forewalker of Alfred Jarry: Gerard de Nerval: http://hoaxes.org/weblog/comments/nerval_lobster and Rene Daumal ("Climbing Mount Analogue: A Novel of Symbolically Authentic Non-Euclidean Adventures in Mountain Climbing") are additional examples of the general atmosphere of some in Paris during the era of pataphysics. When Gurdjieff arrived on the Seine (pun intended), pataphysics, particularly as practiced by Daumal, was subsumed into the newer dynamic (cf "Gurdjieff and the Women of the Rope: Notes of Meetings in Paris and New York"): http://www.brainbodybliss.com/tag/g-i-gurdjieff/

Metaphysics is more of a broad brush which covers the range from pataphysics through to less controversial abstracts. Pataphysics takes over where metaphysics stops and deals with everything imaginary. You could say pataphysics is all in the imagination whereas metaphysics at least encroaches into the basics of our senses and comprehension
