What would have happened to mankind if technology did not exist?

Mankind is kind of synonymous with technology so the question doesn’t make sense.

Ask yourself, what is technology? If you are only thinking in terms of things like machines, electricity and electronics you'd only be half right . In it's most basic form, Technology is anything created by the application of mental and physical effort in order to achieve some result. Fire building is a technology. Poking a hole in the ground with a stick and planting a seed is a technology. Sharpening a stick with a piece of broken stone so you can spear a fish or animal is a type of technology. Clothing is a type of technology. Even speech or sign language is a type of technology. Anything created by humans is a type of "human technology" Got it now? Think you can answer your own question?

First you actually have to define technology. According to google, Definition of technology 1a : the practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area : ENGINEERING sense 2 medical technology b : a capability given by the practical application of knowledge a car's fuel-saving technology 2 : a manner of accomplishing a task especially using technical processes, methods, or knowledge new technologies for information storage 3 : the specialized aspects of a particular field of endeavor educational technology Based on this, you would then need to state what the technology is being used. For example, domestication of animals was a technology at that time. This changed the way people lived. No longer did they have to be nomads - thus the start of cities.
