Is it too late if i start modern ballet when im almost 19 ?

I believe you may mean modern dance. In terms of ballet there is classical, romantic and neoclassical ballet. Modern (or even Contemporary dance) and ballet are not the same thing. Recreational dance is for anyone of any age. I recommend you look for a codified modern dance training such as Martha Graham, Limon or Horton. They will give you better training than just a generic class labled “Modern.” I would be leery of any school that has a class called “modern ballet” as that is a made up genre. If you meant ballet there is no reason you can’t find an adult beginner ballet class. The only thing you are too old for is a dance career. There is no reason you can’t do this and get to your personal best.
