What Book is This ?

I don't remember the name of the book, but I remember it was either a sci-fi or fantasy book. It had a greenish-black mixed cover with a single character on it that looked sort of like the "screaming man" painting. I remember it being multiple POVs. In one part of the book, a man goes inside of a cave and hears voices around him, and he wants to go deeper into the cave, but he's scared that he won't be able to get out. In another part, it was something like the town being burned in flames and a woman was with the main character at the time in a bathroom (?) and a child who died... I think. But she was cursed or something. I'm not too sure what else to say. I lost the book and I've been trying to find it online for months so I can get it again, but since I barely read any of the book and it's been so long since I last read it, it's foggy to me. I'll reply to comments asking for more information (if I can provide it.)
